SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State's 2024 baseball schedule is complete and includes 55 regular season games on a challenging slate that features 12 games against 2023 NCAA Tournament clubs, nine of those versus teams that played in Super Regionals and three versus College World Series teams.
The Bears have 36 road games on the docket, the most scheduled in school history, with 19 games at Hammons Field in Springfield.
Missouri State has marquee home games with 2023 CWS participant Oral Roberts (May 14) along with Power Five foes Kansas State (April 3) and Missouri (April 16). The Bears also host in-state rival SEMO in the midweek (March 26), with home series against Arkansas State (March 1-3), Illinois State (March 29-31), UIC (April 11-13), Murray State (May 3-5) and Southern Illinois (May 16-18).
MoState begins the year with a three-game series at Louisiana Monroe (Feb. 15-17) as the start of an eight-game road swing that continues with the first of two games at Oral Roberts (Feb. 20 and April 9), 2023 Super Regional Club Southern Miss (Feb. 23-25) and 2022 national champion Ole Miss (Feb. 28).
The Bears have additional non-conference series at Central Arkansas (March 8-10), Kansas State (March 15-17) and Arkansas (April 30-May 1), with single games at Saint Louis (March 12), Oklahoma State (March 19), SEMO (April 2) and Missouri (April 23).
The Missouri Valley Conference schedule rotates to five road series for the Bears this season. MSU opens the Valley slate with defending champion and 2023 Super Regional team Indiana State (March 22-24), with visits to Bradley (April 5-7), Valparaiso (April 19-21), Evansville (April 26-28) and Belmont (May 10-12) also on tap.
The MVC Tournament is scheduled for May 21-25 in Evansville, Ind.
