Second-Round Results
CHOUDRANT, La. -- Missouri State's
Max Kreikemeier shares the individual lead with 18 holes remaining at the Jim Rivers Invitational here, firing a four-under 68 in the event's second round Monday.
Kreikemeier (67-68--135) sits atop the 124-player leaderboard along with Southern Miss. standout Thongpipat Rattanayanon (69-66--135). The tandem sits one stroke ahead of LSU's Garret Barber (65-71--136) and two ahead of Middle Tennessee's Kevin Jegers (67-70--137) headed into the final 18 holes.
As a team, the Bears remain in 15th place in the 23-team field. MSU slipped five strokes on Monday but did held steady in the middle of the field at 288-293--581, a stroke ahead of Kennesaw State and three ahead Lamar.Â
Southern Miss (278-276--554) leads the field with LSU (278-280--558) close behind and Middle Tennessee (278-283--561) in the hunt with one round remaining.Â
