Women's Golf Set to Host at Ozarks National

The Missouri State women's golf team will host the Ozarks National Invitational this coming Monday thru Wednesday (Oct. 31-Nov. 2) in Hollister, Mo. Ten teams are set to join the Bears at the renowned Ozarks National Golf Course, which is ranked no. 30 in Golf Digest's Top 100 Public Courses in America and was rated the top new course in the world by the same publication in 2019.

The Bears are coming off a fourth-place finish two weeks ago at the Little Rock Classic in Hot Springs Village, Ark. Faith Belmear and Kayla Pfitzner posted top-10 finishes for MSU while Abby Cavaiani also placed in the top 20. Cavaiani and Pfitzner were the Bears' two top performers at Ozark National a year ago, both placing in the top 25, while the team finished 11th in the 15-team field.

This year's field will include Bradley, Drake, Indiana State, Murray State, Northern Iowa, Omaha, South Dakota, Toledo, UT Arlington and Wichita State in addition to the Bears.

Ozarks National will play at 6,125 yards and par 72 for the tournament. Play is scheduled for a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start each day...18 holes each day. Live scoring via Birdiefire at http://bfire.co/-bf21b/.
