Final Results
MADISON, Ill. – Missouri State men's golf finished sixth after recording its final round Tuesday (Sept. 24) at the Derek Dolenc Invitational in Madison, Ill.
After opening with a 301 and 281 on Monday, the Bears recorded a 302 to post a 54-hole total of 884 to tie for sixth with Creighton in the 18-team event at the Gateway National Golf Links.
Junior
Crimson Callahan led the way for the Bears, shooting a 73 in his final round for a total of 215 and a tie for 13th. Freshman
Max Kreikemeier posted 73-70-73 to tie for 19
th. Senior
Lukas McCalla finished with a score of 81-69-74, while junior
Christopher Obert finished at 76-72-82 and freshman
Austin Gillund at 80-74-85.
UT Martin claimed the team title shooting 852, six better than second-place Tennessee Tech at 858. Belmont finished third with 868, while Drake finished fourth with 869 and Loyola finished fifth with 870.
The Bears return to action Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at the Zack Johnson Invitational in Des Moines, Iowa.
