SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Missouri State's Tuesday (April 30) non-conference baseball game with Wichita State at Eck Stadium has been canceled due to inclement weather in the Wichita area.

The Bears and Shockers were to have played a 6 p.m. contest Tuesday. The game will not be rescheduled, but the two clubs will square off at next Tuesday (May 7) for a 6:30 p.m. contest at Hammons Field.

Missouri State (13-30) will open a three-game Missouri Valley Conference series with DBU Thursday (May 2). First pitch for the nationally-televised ESPNU contest at Hammons Field is slated for 6 p.m.
