DES MOINS, Iowa – The Missouri State track and field team closed out the Drake Relays with a solid performance, emphasized by a second place finish by the 4x100-meter relay squad.

Timeka Jordan, Taryn Smiley, Tomi Bamigbade and Namibia Clavier teamed up for the runner up position in the 4x100-meter relay, recorded in 47.05 seconds.  

Smiley pushes a fifth place finish in the 100-meter dash, running the race in 11.95.

In the field events, Jamilah James took seventh place in the triple jump, marking a 12.26m leap.

The Bears will prepare for the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championship in two weeks, hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind.
