FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Olivia Ott and
Brittany McPike started off day one at the John McDonnell Invitational for the Missouri State track and field team.
Ott currently holds first place in the heptathlon with 2,749 points, through four events. The multi-eventer earned second place in the shot put (10.05m), high jump (1.40m) and 100-meter hurdles (14.81), while also taking first in the 200-meter dash with a career best 25.55 time.
McPike earned ninth place in the hammer throw, recording a 43.90m toss on her third attempt.
The Bears will continue with day two of the John McDonnell Invitational tomorrow at 12:20 p.m. with the discus throw. Live results for the meet can be found
