Day One Results
TULSA, Okla. – The Missouri State track and field team kicked off the outdoor season during day one of ORU Invitational, battling a two hour weather day at the Oneok Sports Complex in Tulsa, Okla.
Rochelle Etienne earns second place in the javelin throw of a 43.12-meter throw on her second attempt.
On her final throw of the day,
Brittany McPike chucked a 49.44-meter hammer throw, finishing fourth.
Olivia Ott showed out in two events for the Bears. Finishing in seventh in the high jump (1.45m), while also taking 11
th place in the javelin throw, with a 33.20m throw.
Also competing in the javelin is
Rachel Buschling, who finished in 15
th with a 29.74m throw.
Day two of the ORU Invitational will start for the Bears at 10 a.m. with the discus throw, while the 3,000 steeple chase with start at 11:45 a.m.
