SPRINGFIELD -- The Missouri State men's golf team sees four top 15 individual starts during day one of the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate.
The Bears are in third place as a team after 36-holes of action, shooting 5-over par 573 at their home course of Twin Oaks Country Club.
Brad Carpenter paces the Bears with a 141 (-1), recording eight birdies. Carpenter stands tied for third place, just seven shots back of leader Lucas Scherf of Drake.
Lukas McCalla and
Kory Franks both represent Missouri State in the top 15. McCalla is tied for 10
th with a 143 (+3), while Franks has a score of 144 (+2) and is in 12
th place.
Adam Fisher carded a 145 (+3) two round score and is currently tied for 17
th. Rounding out the Bears line up is Chris Obert, who earned a 9-over par 151.
Competing as individuals for MSU are
Jack Knoesel and
Carter Lee. Knoesel also ranks in the top 15, being tied for 10th with a 1-over par 143, while Lee put up a 157 (+15).
The Bears will tee off for the final round starting at 9:15 a.m. tomorrow at Twin Oaks Country Club.
