Men’s Golf Underway in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Missouri State men's golf team is in 13th place after 36 holes at the Little Rock/First Tee Classic in Little Rock, Ark. The squad ended round two 29-over-par, recording 301-304 at the par-72 Bear Den course at Chenal Country Club.
 
Leading the Bears is junior Crimson Callahan with 72-74, finishing the day two-over-par and tied for 20th. Junior Christopher Obert is next for MSU with 76-75, placing himself in tie for 52nd. Freshman Max Kreikemeier recorded 76-79, while senior Lukas McCalla ended the evening with 77-80 and freshman Eric Byun with 84-76.
 
Eastern Michigan (291-286) leads the 15-team event one-over-par, while Oral Roberts (289-289) and host Little Rock (284-294) both sit one stroke behind in second place. Rounding out the top-five are Campbell (288-291) and Middle Tennessee State (295-284), which are both in a knot for fourth.
 
The event will conclude tomorrow (Oct. 22) with a final 18 holes starting at 8:15 a.m.
