Tennis Bears On the Road at Eastern Illinois Fall Invitational

SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's tennis team continues its fall schedule at the Eastern Illinois Invitational, joining three other clubs in the two-day event taking place on Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12.

MSU competes in the four-team bracket consisting of IUPUI, EMU, and host Eastern Illinois.
Â
Teams will play two doubles and one singles round on Friday. Competition resumes Saturday with doubles finals, singles main/back draw, and singles finals.

The Bears are coming off a successful trip to the MVC Individual Championships, where they claimed a title in both doubles and singles action. Ellie Burger dominated the No. 3 singles flight to earn an individual distinction while duo Anna Alons and Alyson Piskulic took the No. 2 doubles distinction.
