PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Missouri State track and field team gathers five top-five finishes at the Pittsburg State Invitational, here on Saturday.
Taryn Smiley, earned second place in the 60-meter dash with a 7.59 time, while also taking 10
th place in the 200-meter run with a personal best 25.17 time.
Improving her personal best for the second straight week,
Grace Breiten collected a second place 4:57.23 mile time.
Sidne' Williamson and
Jamilah James took second and fourth place respectively in the long jump with Williamson marking a 5.78m leap while James hit a marked 5.67m.
Edna Dar also shined in the 800-meter run, finishing in fifth place with a 2:17.08 time. Â
Missouri State will head to Lincoln, Neb. next weekend for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in the next leg of the indoor season.
