Missouri State hits the Missouri Valley Conference road for the first time this season, visiting Bradley at 7 p.m. Friday and Illinois State at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Starting Five - Storylines for the Weekend
1) The Lady Bears (7-7, 3-0 MVC) have won six consecutive games, averaging a plus-11.2 scoring margin and plus-14.2 rebound margin during the streak.

2) MSU has gone 6-3 or better in MVC road games each of the last four years, combining for a 26-10 league road record since the beginning of the 2014-15 season. Missouri State is also 19-6 in its last 25 games in the state of Illinois.

3) MSU and Bradley are the top two teams in the MVC in terms of total rebounds and offensive boards. BU's Chelsea Brackmann and Missouri State's Jasmine Franklin are two of the three players averaging a double-double in MVC play.

4) Rebounding and defense will again be key in the Illinois State game. The Lady Bears and Redbirds rank 1-2 in the MVC in rebound margin for all games. MSU allows 58.3 points in conference games, while ISU leads the Valley with a 59.7 defensive average for the full season.

5) Head coach Kellie Harper earned her 100th victory at MSU on Sunday.

Series Histories
Missouri State is 54-25 all-time against Bradley, with 21-14 mark in Peoria. MSU has won 10 of the last 12 meetings.
    MSU leads Illinois State 43-31 in the all-time series and has won 13 of the last 16 meetings. Missouri State has won six of its last seven trips to Normal to even the series at 18-18 in ISU's gym.

Scouting Bradley
Bradley is 12-3 overall and 2-2 in MVC play. The Braves have three players who score at least 12.5 points per game, with Gabi Haack leading the way at 16.5 points and a league-high 43 3-pointers, while Chelsea Brackmann averages a double-double with a league-best 10.9 rebounds per contest. Bradley averages 73.5 points per game and allows 64.3, shooting 40.1 percent overall, 30 percent from distance and 72 percent at the foul line with a plus-4.2 rebounding margin.

Scouting Illinois State
Illinois State is 9-6 overall and 2-2 in league play entering its Friday game with SIU. Simone Goods (17.2) and Tete Maggett (16.2) are the only Redbirds averaging above 6.3 points per game, and ISU leads the MVC in overall scoring defense at 59.7 points per contest. The Redbirds score 60.7 points per game with shooting percentages of .404 overall, .289 from 3-point range and .680 at the foul line. ISU ranks second in the MVC behind MSU at plus-5.5 rebounds per game.
