SPRINGFIELD – The 700
th program match for the Missouri State men's soccer team, saw a shutout of Valparaiso, 1-0, Saturday night at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium.

The lone goal of the match came at the 17-minuite mark off a penalty kick attempt from
Josh Dolling. The sophomore lined up for the eventual game winning goal after Valpo fouled the Bears in the box. Dolling would find the left side of the net for his eighth goal of the season.

Michael Creek shined in the goal for the Bears, holding off Valpo with two great saves at the 55 mark and the 88 minute marks. Creek put up his second shutout of his career. Â

The Bears would record 12 total shots on the day, with five on goal.
Conor Ingram paced the squad with three shots with one on goal.

MSU's defense held Valpo to just eight shots offensively with three on goal.
