Bears Announce 2018 Fall Camp Slate

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Missouri State University head coach Keith Guttin announced the Bears' 2018 Fall Baseball Camp schedule Friday, and the MSU coaching staff is now accepting applications for three different clinics to be held at Hammons Field. 

MSU's Pitching/Catching Camp is open to grades 7-12 and will be held October 13-14, while the Bears will host a pair of Skills and Showcase Camps, August 25 and September 29, for players entering grades 9-12. 

Over the course of the Skills and Showcase Camp, participants will receive instruction in all phases of the game and individual evaluations while having the opportunity to compete head-to-head in up to three games. The Pitching/Catching Camp focuses on the fundamentals of pitching and catching, led by Bears' pitching coach Paul Evans, as well as several current and former Missouri State professional players.

Dates: October 13-14
Time: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Saturday) and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Sunday)
Grades: 7-12
Fee: $175

Skills and Showcase Camps
Dates: August 25 or September 29
Time: 8:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
Grades: 9-12 (Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022)
Fees: $175 (position players); $120 (PO's)
