NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Missouri State track and field team earned All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the organization announced on Thursday.

The Bears are one of 220 women's teams nationally, and one of eight in the Missouri Valley Conference to earn the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team distinction. MSU earned a team grade-point average of 3.30 during the year. Teams with a 3.0 GPA or higher are eligible for consideration.

Missouri State finished fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference indoor and outdoor championships, and sent three to compete in the outdoor NCAA championships in 2018.
