SACRAMENTO, Calif.  – Triple jumper Jamilah James represented the Missouri State track and field team, during the final day of the 2018 NCAA West Regional, at Hornet Stadium.
 
Coming off of a Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year award at the outdoor championship, James recorded a new personal best 12.72-meter triple jump, finishing in 26^th place. James was less than a meter from qualifying for nationals.
