Williamson Sets Long Jump Personal Record

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Missouri State track and field team spilt squad to the Drake Relays and the Memphis Tiger Invite, Friday afternoon.

Memphis Tiger Invite
Setting a new personal long jump record, Sidne' Williamson marked a 6.18m leap, which was good enough for the event title, the top mark in the Missouri Valley Conference this season and 20th in the West Region qualifying list.  
 
Also competing in the long jump, Isa Videler (5.88m), Jamilah James (5.85m), Daijha Heron (5:85m) and Olivia Ott (5.71m) took third through sixth respectively.
 
Running in the 200-meter dash, Asha Cave marked a second place 24.21 finish.
 
Rochelle Etienne marked a 41.99m, third place javelin performance for the Bears.
 
Drake Relays
The relay team of Grace Breiten, Jessica Allen, Erica Wollmering and Paityn Howat recorded a 20:15.10 4x1600-meter relay time, finishing in seventh place
 
The Bears will finish the weekend with the final day of the Memphis Tiger Invite, which is set to start at 10 a.m. with field events.
