CAPE GIRADEAU, Mo. -- The Missouri State men's golf team finished up the final round of the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in a tie for fourth place (905) at Dalhousie Golf Club, in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

The Bears were led by
Jack Knoesel who finished tied for ninth place. Knoesel finished the final round with an eagle on the par-five 18th hole to keep him even through the back nine and only two over for the round.

Closely following Knoesel,
Adam Fisher and
Kory Franks, finished the championship tied for 11th. Fisher fired off 78-77-71--226 with five birdies, while Franks shot 72-81-73--226 with an eagle on the sixth hole.

Breaking into the top 20,
Brad Carpenter shot 80-72-79--231 to finish tied for 19th.
Lukas McCalla wrapped up the Bears scorecard, posting 81-81-76--238 on his way to 35th place on two birdies on the front nine early in the day.

Bradley took the MVC team title after shooting a 19-over par 883 over three days. The Braves also earned the individual crown, Drake Bushong won the event with a 1-over par 217. Â

Fisher and Knoesel earned All-Conference honors for the performance at the championship and during the regular season.
