SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – With winter weather expected throughout the day Saturday, Missouri State University has moved its baseball First Pitch and Reunion event to Sunday (Feb. 11) at 2 p.m., head coach
Keith Guttin announced Friday.
The event, which will feature former big league pitcher and current St. Louis Cardinals broadcaster Al Hrabosky, will take place at the Bill Rowe Training Facility at Hammons Field, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Abou Ben Adhem Shriners Travel Fund, which assists in the transportation of children to and from Shriners Hospitals.
The Bears will open their 2018 slate next Friday (Feb. 16) against Texas Southern as part of the Cardinal Classic in Beaumont, Texas.
