DES MOINES, Iowa – The Missouri State men's soccer team recorded a 0-0 double overtime draw with Drake, to remain in the running for a Missouri Valley Conference Championship, Saturday night at Cownie Stadium. The Bears move to 8-1-5 overall and 2-1-2 in MVC action.

The Bears had multiple opportunities in the 110 minute battle to break open the scoring, with four athletes recording shot attempts.

Missouri State out shot Drake, 14 to five, and marked a new season best 10 shots at goal.
Josh Dolling led the Bears by tying his season shot attempt record with seven.

MSU's defense held Drake to a shot attempt season low (5), with only two efforts pointed toward goal.

The Bears back line has held up seven shutouts this season, while holding opponents to just eight goals through 14 games, a nation's top-10 .57 goals-against-average.

The Bears regular season comes to an end next Saturday at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium against Central Arkansas at 6 p.m. Missouri State will be celebrating senior night for five student-athletes and also will be playing for a share of the MVC regular season title.
