NEW ORLEANS – Missouri State was one of 242 women's cross country teams to earn All-Academic Team status by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the association announced Thursday (Feb. 9). This is the second-consecutive year that the Bears have earned this distinction.

Every member of the cross country squad is also a member of the Missouri State Athletic Director's Honor Roll, where a student-athlete must carry a 3.0 GPA or higher.

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.
