Track and Field Bears Show off at Missouri Holiday Opener

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri State track and field team logged four first place finishes at the Missouri Holiday Opener on Friday. Divina Henry, Isa Videler, Chicago Bains and Jamilah James all marked victories for the Bears.

Henry documented a 200-meter dash in 25.46 at her second meet as a Bear and finished almost a half second faster than the next runner.

Bains recorded the top spot in the 60-meter hurdles finishing with an 8.95 time as well as a 13th place finish in the 200-meter dash.

Videler ran a first place finish in the 600-meter run with a 1:34.40 time. She also finished second in the 60m hurdles (9.25) behind Bains.

In jumps, James earned her second top placing of the season with a 12.31m leap in the triple jump. James also hit a 5.69m mark in long jump to finish second.

Missouri State will continue the indoor season after the turn of the calendar at the Arkansas Opener (Jan. 12) in Fayetteville, Ark.
