Missouri State (19-9, 12-4 Missouri Valley Conference) finishes regular season play this weekend with home games against Indiana State (13-14, 9-7) at 7 p.m. Thursday and Illinois State (7-20, 5-11) at 2 p.m. Saturday. MSU seniors Hillary Chvatal, Tyonna Snow and Kenzie Williams will be honored in a pregame ceremony Saturday for Senior Day.
MSU opened league play with road wins over the ISUs, beating Illinois State 73-51 on New Year's Day, and topping Indiana State by a 59-51 final on Jan. 3. Snow averaged 18 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 4.5 steals in the two games to earn MVC Player of the Week honors.
The league race remains wide open entering the last weekend. The Lady Bears, UNI, Drake and Southern Illinois have all clinched a top-four finish, and numerous seeding scenarios exist that result in nearly any seed still being available to all four teams.

Series Histories
Missouri State holds a 53-18 series lead over the Sycamores, including a 28-6 mark in Springfield. MSU has won 13 of the last 17 meetings overall.
Missouri State leads Illinois State 38-31 in the all-time series and has won eight of the last 11 meetings. The Lady Bears own a 21-12 series lead in Springfield.

Scouting Indiana State
Indiana State is 13-14 overall and 9-7 in MVC play after winning four of its last five games. Cierra Ceazer averages 13.9 points for the Sycamores and Ashley Taia chips in 9.5 points on 36 shooting from long range, while Joyea Marshall ranks among the MVC leaders with 7.9 rebounds per contest. ISU scores 59.6 points per game and allows 58.8, shooting 37.1 percent overall, 29.3 percent from distance and 65.8 percent from the free throw line.

Scouting Illinois State
Illinois State is 7-20 overall and 5-11 in MVC games. Octavia Crump (11.7) and Shakeela Fowler (11.2) score in double figures for the Redbirds, while Viria Livingston leads ISU in rebounding at 6.3 per contest. As a team, Illinois State scores 56.1 points per game and allows 67.0 while shooting 34.6 percent overall, 26.6 percent on 3-pointers and 63.8 percent from the foul line.

First Meeting With Indiana State
The Lady Bears won a defensive battle on Jan. 3 in Terre Haute. MSU owned a 34-18 lead early in the second half before the Sycamores twice cut the gap to four points. The Lady Bears answered each ISU run with a 3-pointer, and Tyonna Snow finished with 20 points after turning two steals into layups in the final 51 seconds to secure the win. Lexi Hughes added 14 points for MSU.

First Meeting With Illinois State
Missouri State shot 55.6 percent in a 73-51 victory on New Year's Day in Redbird Arena. The Lady Bears built a 39-23 halftime lead as Kenzie Williams scored 23 points of 9-of-12 shooting and Tyonna Snow had 16 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
