MSU Baseball Ticket Information | 2016 Bears Baseball Schedule
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Single-game tickets and eight-game mini-plans for Missouri State's 30-game 2016 home baseball schedule will go on sale Thursday, Feb. 4, through the MSU Athletics Box Office.
Missouri State, the No. 17 team in Collegiate Baseball's preseason poll, finished the 2015 season with a school-record 49 wins en route to capturing both the MVC regular-season and conference tournament titles, as well as the Springfield Regional crown to advance to its second NCAA Super Regional. The Bears will welcome back 17 letterwinners and five regular position starters from last year's club, including sophomore third baseman Jake Burger and junior closer Bryan Young, who are back to lead 2015 MVC Coach of the Year Keith Guttin's group of returnees after earning numerous All-America honors last season.
The Bears will open the gates at Hammons Field for the first time March 1, when they begin a five-game home stand against Oral Roberts. The month of March will see MSU host a total of 15 games at Hammons, including a matchup with Big 12 power Oklahoma State (March 8) and three-game sets with Iowa (March 18-20) and Minnesota (March 25-27) out of the Big Ten Conference.
MSU also hosts regional rivals Arkansas State (March 22), Saint Louis (April 5), Kansas (April 6), Missouri (April 12) and Arkansas (May 3) as part of a challenging non-conference home schedule. The Bears will welcome Evansville (April 22-24), Southern Illinois (May 6-8) and Illinois State (May 19-21) for three-game Missouri Valley Conference series to round out the home slate.
Bears' single-game tickets are priced at $5 for the general public, $2.50 for Missouri State faculty and staff, $2 for students and $4 per adult ($2 for children) for groups of 20 or more for the 2016 season. All children ages 12 and under will require a $2 ticket for admission. Eight-game mini-plans, which allow fans to the opportunity to customize their own ticket package by selecting seats to eight home games of their choice, will also be available for $32 per person.
Season-ticket packages are also on sale, with lower-level reserved chairback seats available for $100 to the general public, $50 for Missouri State faculty and staff and $20 for students. Students must show a valid and current BearPass Card along with a student ticket to gain entry to Hammons Field. Missouri State is also offering complimentary season-long admission for up to two children (ages 12 and under) with the purchase of two 2015 season tickets.
All season and single-game tickets for the 2016 campaign will be available through the MSU Athletics Box Office at JQH Arena, online at MissouriStateBears.com or by calling Duane Miller at (417) 836-8899.
