The Missouri State Lady Bears renew their rivalry with Missouri for the fifth consecutive season Friday when they visit Mizzou Arena for a 7 p.m. tip.
Missouri State is 2-4 on the year, and Friday's contest will be the fifth true road game of the season and fourth against a Power Five school. It's also MSU's fourth away game against a Southeastern Conference school in the last two seasons, with the Lady Bears owning a 2-1 record in the previous three outings.
The Lady Bears are primed for improvement once the calendar turns to December if recent history is any indication. In coach
Kellie Harper's first three seasons, MSU owns a 52-28 (.650) post-November record.
Series History
Missouri State trails 18-10 in the all-time series, though only eight games have been
played since 1990. The teams have played in each of the last four seasons, splitting those contests, while the Lady Bears have won four of the last six dating to 2003.
