SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State put together its best statistical defensive match of the season Friday, handing head coach 
Melissa Stokes her 450th career victory in the process with a 25-14, 25-19, 25-17 sweep of Bradley at Hammons Student Center.
The Bears (12-7, 3-2 Missouri Valley Conference) had a season-high 12 blocks and limited the Braves (6-10, 1-4) to a .009 attack efficiency with 28 kills and 27 errors. 
Senior 
Simone House recorded a season-best seven stuffs to go with nine kills on .381 hitting, 
Emily Butters had 21 digs, 
Lynsey Wright tallied 12 kills and two errors on 16 swings for a .625 hitting percentage, and 
Lily Johnson logged her 13th double-double of the year with 12 kills, 11 digs and four blocks. Johnson's kill total moved her into a tie with Jennifer Seveland Box for fourth on MSU's career kills list with 1,444 winners.
Missouri State did not trail in the first or third sets, jumping out to a 17-6 lead in the first period with 18 digs and five blocks while limiting the Braves to seven kills and a -.083 attack efficiency. In the third set, a House kill made it 7-3 Bears and Bradley got no closer than three points for the remainder of the frame. Wright went a perfect 5-for-5 on the attack, while Johnson and Butters scooped eight digs apiece as MSU had 21 digs and four blocks in the third.
The second set included seven ties and three early lead changes, the last of which came during a 10-1 MSU run that put the Bears ahead 19-11. Johnson had two kills and two solo blocks in the run, and the Braves answered with a 6-0 spurt to close the gap to two points. House and 
Daniele Messa countered with a block for 21-17, and MSU scored the final three points to complete the sweep. 
The Bears ended the match with leads of 41-28 in total kills and 58-49 in digs, hitting .248 as a team while not surrendering a service ace to the Braves.
Missouri State hosts Loyola (8-10, 3-2) at 7 p.m. Saturday.
