St. LOUIS -- Missouri State senior guard Tyonna Snow is the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball, the league announced Monday. Snow also won the award on March 2 of last season.
Snow averaged 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, 3.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per game in a pair of MSU wins last week. Saturday, the senior from Blue Springs, Mo., recorded her second double-double of the season with 25 points and 10 rebounds against Eastern Kentucky, shooting 10-for-15 from the field while adding four steals, two assists and a career-high three blocks.
Wednesday, Snow scored 18 points to go with nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block as the Lady Bears picked up a 15-point road win at Arkansas.
Snow and the Lady Bears (5-4) return to action Saturday at 7 p.m. when they host Oral Roberts at JQH Arena.
