St. LOUIS -- Missouri State senior guard Kenzie Williams was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball Monday (Dec. 14). The Mt. Vernon native has now won the award four times during her career.

Williams had 21 points and a career-high 12 rebounds in Missouri State's win against Oral Roberts, adding four assists, two blocks and two steals. She went 3-for-6 from beyond the arc and made all eight free throw attempts while recording the second double-double of her career.

Up next for Williams and the Lady Bears (6-4) is an 11 a.m. game at Middle Tennessee (4-4) on Dec. 17.
