The Missouri State women's soccer team (7-9-2) will face host and top-seeded Illinois State (12-5-0) in the semifinal round of the MVC Women's Soccer Championship on Friday, November 7 at 6:06 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the other semifinal between Drake (8-8-2) and Evansville (10-4-3) in the title match on Sunday at 1:06 p.m. for the Missouri Valley Conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.

IN THE MVC TOURNAMENT - Missouri State is 13-13-6 all-time in the MVC Tournament after Sunday's 2-0 win at UNI in the quarterfinal round. MSU is 4-3-2 against the Redbirds in postseason play. The Bears have advanced to the finals five times (1999, 2000, 2001, 2010, 2011), winning the tournament in 2000.

Coach Rob Brewer - Missouri State head coach Rob Brewer (Lynchburg College, 1977) is 173-154-43 in his 19th season at the helm of the Bears. Brewer has been the only head coach in Missouri State women's soccer history. Before coming to Missouri State, Brewer went 68-28-2 in five seasons as the women's head coach at Elon (N.C.).

PROGRAM RECORD - Senior Molly Huber broke the single season school record for goals when she scored her 13th of the year on Sunday at UNI. Her 26 points on the campaign is the fifth-highest single season total in program history.

Huber ranks in the top-25 nationally with her 13 total goals (t-24th) and 0.813 goals per game (16th).

HAT TRICK - Huber tallied just the fourth hat trick in program history when she accounted for all the scoring in a 3-0 win over Indiana State on October 3. It was the first hat trick by an MSU player since Caroline Sweeney netted three goals against UNI on October 1, 2006.

SHE'S JUST A JUNIOR - Molly Brewer has climbed into the top-5 in school history in points (39) and assists (13) in just three seasons at MSU. Her 13 career goals are approaching the top-10.

FRESH ASSISTS - Freshmen Rachel Catrell and Mary Disidore have contributed four assists each this season. All four of Disidore's came in MVC play, tying her for the league lead in the category.

BEST FOR LAST - Senior defender and reigning MVC Defensive Player of the Year Kelsey Fouch has played the most minutes on the team this season (1,643). She is one of just four players to start all 18 matches this season and scored her first career goal, the game-winner, on Sunday at UNI. Her goal 37 seconds into the second half was the fastest goal scored after halftime in program history.

QUICK KICKS - In the last 14 MVC Tournament matches that Missouri State has played in, 11 have gone to overtime or beyond.

- Molly Huber scored 11 of her 13 goals at the new home of the Bears, Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium.

- Missouri State tied the longest stretch in program history of five consecutive matches with two or more goals scored when they recorded multiple goals against Utah State, Tulsa, Oral Roberts, Arkansas State and Central Arkansas, August 24 through September 12.

- Sunday's win at UNI avenged a regular season loss to the Panthers. MSU hopes the trend continues after regular season losses to Illinois State and Drake.

- The Bears tallied two goals at UNI on Sunday, the 10th multi-goal match of the season. It is the most matches in a season with two or more goals scored since MSU put multiple goals on the board in 11 matches in 2000.

- Freshman Brooke Zimmerman scored two game-winning goals on the season, the first two regular season matches at Allison South Stadium. She recorded the first-ever regular season goal at the new stadium in the sixth minute of MSU's win over Utah State on August 24.

- The last four meetings between Evansville (potential finals opponent) and Missouri State have resulted in a tie. In those four draws, the teams have combined for four goals.
