SPRINGFIELD - Missouri State's only home cross country meet for the 2013 season, the Richard Clark Invitational, has been canceled due to lack of entries, MSU head cross country coach Alick Musukuma announced Monday (Sept. 16.

The meet was slated for Saturday, Sept. 21 at the MSU Cross Country Course in Springfield.

Musukuma's Bears return to action on Saturday, Sept. 28 when they travel to Stillwater, Okla., for the Cowboy Jamboree, hosted by Oklahoma State. The MSU squad will conclude its regular season on Oct. 3 at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark., before traveling to Des Moines, Iowa for the MVC Championships on Nov. 2.
