Missouri State senior Emma Clegg has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week for the second time in her career. Clegg tied for fifth Tuesday (Mar. 26) at the UALR Classic in Hot Springs, Ark., and led the Bears to a tie for seventh place.

A native of Blackburn, Lancashire, England, Clegg carded 74-78-79--231 in three trips around Diamante Country Club and finished in a tie for fifth place in the 83-player field.

She currently sports a 76.36 scoring average and is ranked third in the Valley. She won the same award in October after finishing second and recording a career-best finish at the Payne Stewart Memorial at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.
