SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Missouri State baseball fans can catch an early glimpse of the 2012 squad Tuesday, Oct. 4, when the Bears open the fall campaign with a 3 p.m., exhibition contest against the Ontario Blue Jays, a Canadian high school select team, at Hammons Field.
The Bears will then kick off their annual intrasquad fall world series on Thursday, Oct. 6, at Hammons. Additional games will follow on Oct. 7, Oct. 11, Oct. 13, Oct. 17 and Oct. 19. With the exception of the Oct. 13 contest, which is scheduled for a 10 a.m., first pitch, games will begin at 3 p.m.
Admission to all fall contests is free and open to the public.
