Missouri State junior Daily Young has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week for the second time this season.  Young fired an even-par 71 Tuesday (Apr. 5) to help lead the Bears to a one-shot, come-from-behind victory at the Branson Creek Invitational. 

The sophomore from Springfield placed third in the tournament after posting 76-73-71--220 for this second top-10 finish of the season.  He took second last fall at the Bill Ross/UMKC Intercollegiate and also was named the league's top player that week.  Young is currently ranked fourth in the MVC and sports a 74.34 scoring average.

He and his teammates are back in action Monday-Tuesday (Apr. 11-12) at the ASU Red Wolf Classic in Jonesboro, Ark.
