The Missouri State men's golf team finished the final day of the Fairway Club Invitational at the Arborlinks Golf Course in Nebraska City, Neb., Tuesday (Sept. 15). The Bears finished the tournament with a 905 team score, placing them tenth in team scoring. Junior Jack Courington (Wichita, Kan.) led all Bear golfers in the tournament with round scores of 80, 71 and 71, finishing 29th on the individual leaderboard.
The tournament ended with Drake netting both the individual and team titles. Cody Schweinefus led the Bulldogs with rounds of 69, 68 and 70 on his way to the individual crown. The Bulldogs as a whole shot 852.
In the final round, excitement struck on the 235 yard sixth hole, when Dustin Steiner of South Dakota State sank a hole-in-one.
