A senior from West Plains, Woodbury started all 57 games in center field and led the Bears with a .388 batting average. Woodbury also drove in 47 runs and stole 11 bases.
Clubb was a Collegiate Baseball first-team All-American and the MVC Pitcher of the Year and set a school record for the most victories by a pitcher without a defeat, going 11-0 with a 2.52 ERA. Clubb’s 11 victories rank second in MSU history for a season, he was honored twice as the MVC Pitcher of the Week and three times as the MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week. The Eureka, Mo., native pitched at least seven innings in his final 10 starts of the season and left the game qualified for the victory in all 14.
Meade spent most of his freshman season in the weekend rotation and finished the year 4-3 with a 5.06 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 58.2 innings. The Kansas City product earned wins against Central Arkansas, Iowa, Northern Colorado and Southern Illinois, and took a no-hitter into the seventh inning against Middle Tennessee before coming away with a no decision. Meade finished the season among the top 50 nationally with a 9.97 strikeouts per nine innings ratio.
