Sophomore midfielder Kyle Windmueller’s third goal of the season propelled the Missouri State men’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over IUPUI in the Busey/Bradley Homecoming Classic, Saturday. The Bears are now 4-5-1 overall, following two weekend wins.
Windmueller’s game winner in the 71st minute was the end result of a scrum off of a free kick. MSU junior forward Henry Lawrence III assisted, his second in as many games played in the Classic.
Senior goal keeper Lance Parker saved nine shots on goal for the Bears.
Missouri State will conclude a nearly month-long seven-game road swing Wednesday, playing at Southern Methodist University.
