Missouri State University will kick off its 2007 cross country season by hosting the Missouri State Cross Country Classic, Sept. 22, 2007. Teams interested in attending should contact Greg Hipp at 417-836-4498 or at greghipp@missouristate.edu.  

The Cross Country Classic is currently a collegiate event only. Any high school competition dates will be announced later.

The event is expected to attract a multi-regional field and schools from the following conferences have already expressed strong interest in attending this first-year event: Missouri Valley Conference, Big10, SEC, Atlantic10, Mountain West, Mid-Continent and Ohio Valley.

During the fall of 2006 Missouri State began developing a new cross country facility within the city of Springfield, Mo. Meet and facility information is available at BearsTrack.net and at the attached PDF file.
