The Missouri State men's golf team finished with a two-round score of 604 to finish 10th at the Stephen F. Austin State Bill Hill-Crown Classic in Lufkin, Texas, after the final round was rained out on Tuesday. The Bears' top individual performer was junior Damasco Carrera, who finished in a tie for 23rd with a two-round total of 149 (+5). Carrera had the Bears' low score of the second round, shooting an even-par 72.
Senior Matt Sullivan finished a stroke behind Carrera in a tie for 28th with a 150 (+6), which included the Bears' low round of the tournament on Monday, when he shot a two-under 70.
Freshman Scott Glenn finished in a tie for 34th with a total of 151 (+7), including rounds of 74 and 77. Freshman Jay McBride finished in a tie for 51st with a 155 (+11), with rounds of 74 and 81. Junior John Cronly finished with rounds of 80 and 83 for a total of 163 (+19), finishing tied for 71st.
The Bears will finish the fall season on Oct. 23 and 24, when the team travels to the Oral Roberts University Shootout in Tulsa, Okla.
