Florant also added a victory in the long jump, winning the event with a mark of 23-3.5.

Senior Danielle Norville of Telford, England, ran a personal best time of 7.61 in the 60-meter dash, earning her a fourth-place finish for the Bears at Saturday’s Jayhawk Invitational. Norville's time is second-best in the Valley and just .01 of a second off the top time.

Missouri State's men's and women's track and field teams will be back on the track in Lincoln, Neb., for the two-day Husker Invitational, beginning on Friday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m.
