This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State women's soccer's Kate Lewis. Lewis continued her run in goal with two more clean sheets during Missouri State’s unbeaten week. Lewis played all 180 minutes against Southeast Missouri and Central Arkansas, making six saves without allowing a goal. She recorded three saves in a 0-0 draw against SEMO before stopping all three shots on goal in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Central Arkansas. The performances gave Lewis three consecutive shutouts and extended her personal scoreless streak to 284:37 dating back to Missouri State’s match at Kansas State on Aug. 20.
