In a field of 62 male competitors, Minki Kang took the fourth-place spot with a time of 59:34.61, with only 17 seconds separating him from the top finisher at the CSCAA Open Water Championships. His time helped Missouri State earn the runner-up position in overall team totals with a combined score of 28 points, edging out 10 other programs.
