Josie Pearson had a great season opening meet at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown, Friday, Sept. 29 at the campus of the University of Missouri. The junior picked up two top-five finishes at the meet, edging out stout competition in the 200 IM and 100 butterfly. Pearson made an impressive go at the 200 IM, touching the wall second with a time of 2:03.86. Pearson earned her second top-five finish in the 100 fly, finishing the event fifth in 56.67 seconds.
