Liza Fruendt averaged 17 points in three games last week, including a 31-point outburst against Oral Roberts on Sunday. She hit eight 3-pointers at a 44 percent clip, went 9-for-9 at the foul line, and added eight rebounds, four assists and four steals. The senior shot 11-for-21 overall against ORU, including 4-for-8 from distance and 5-for-5 at the charity stripe, adding three steals and three boards while becoming the ninth player in school history with multiple 30-point games in a career. Thursday Fruendt finished with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists as the Lady Bears dispatched former MVC rival Wichita State by a 94-71 final, and had five points in Monday’s game at Little Rock.
