Artur Osvath had another fantastic week in the pool thanks to two individual victories and a pair of records at the Shamrock Invitational. The junior was the lone Bear to earn an individual victory at the two-day meet. Osvath’s first victory came in the 100 breast where he claimed the event with a NCAA B-standard time of 53.21 seconds. His time in the event marked a new personal best, as well as a meet and Rolfs Aquatic Center pool record. Clinching the 200 breaststroke, Osvath was masterful in the event once again. Meeting NCAA B-standards with a time of 1:54.65, he was the only swimmer to finish the race in under two minutes. Along with his individual efforts, he helped the Missouri State 200 medley relay squad place second overall and led the 400 medley relay team to a third-place finish. After the week, Osvath leads the Mid-American conference in the 200 breast, 200 fly and 200 IM.
