This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State swimming's Lindsey Hervey. Hervey became the first woman to swim a sub-17-minute time at Hammons Student Pool in the 1,650-yard freestyle on Saturday in Missouri State's final home meet of the season against UIC. The sophomore broke the previous record set earlier this year with a time of 16:57.28. Hervey was also a big winner on the first day of the meet on Friday, taking the win in the 500-yard freestyle with a personal best time of 4:55.26.
