This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State baseball's Brandt Thompson. Thompson tossed seven shutout innings Friday at Bradley, scattering three singles and five total runners in the win. Thompson let just two Braves as far as second base while leading the Bears to their first shutout of the season. In three Valley starts, Thompson boasts a 0.95 ERA and .167 opponent average in 19 innings.
