This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State baseball's Jason Schaaf. Schaaf faced one batter over the minimum and did not allow a Belmont batter beyond first base Sunday in the first complete-game shutout by a Missouri State pitcher since Matt Russell blanked Evansville on April 17, 2021. The sophomore struck out four and surrendered just three singles and a walk in a career-high seven innings in the run-rule victory.
