This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State baseball's Mason Hull. Hull hit .429, slugged .929 and reached safely 12 times in four games while playing an error-free second base in 18 total chances during the Bears’ 3-1 week. He homered twice with seven RBI and six runs scored to account for 11 total runs in four games. Hull began the week by reaching four times, scoring twice and driving in two runs in the Bears’ Tuesday win against Omaha. In Friday’s series opener at Murray State, the fifth-year senior hit a three-run homer to cap the Bears’ eight-run fourth inning and scored two runs against the Racers. He finished the week in style by going 3-for-5 with a home run, double and two RBI in the final game at Murray to help the Bears clinch a sixth straight MVC series win.
