Cavaiani placed third in the 95-player field, shooting 76-71-75--222 at Bogey Hills Country Club, and led the Bears to the team title in the event. The senior from Wales, Wis. currently leads the Valley with a 73.79 scoring average and has posted four top-five finishes this season, including medalist honors at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial in the fall. Cavaiani was a conference medalist in 2019, Golfer of the Year in 2020, and is the two-time MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
